Scheduling with a mobile groomer is a bit different from a traditional brick-and-mortar salon — but don’t worry, we’ll guide you through every step! We are currently transitioning our clients to a set rotation of 4-8wks. This ensures that all of our clients can be serviced on a regular schedule without interruptions that can often occur when allowing sporadic or seasonal appointments. Yes, we do require a minimum service of $80. Mobile grooming is a specialized service with unique costs, so this helps us keep things running smoothly. Don’t worry—nail trims are still available! Check out our service menu.
Our home base is Susquehanna, PA. We travel within a 1 hr radius from there, if suitable for our schedule. Anything outside of that radius requires a Block Party. More info is available on this from the menu tab.
It is the client’s responsibility to fully disclose any behavioral or health issues before scheduling an appointment. This includes, but is not limited to, prior injuries, allergies, medications, joint or hip problems, illnesses, infections, and vaccination history. Failure to provide this information may result in termination of future services. We cannot be held liable for pre-existing conditions.
Natasha, with her extensive clinical experience across a variety of animals—from exotic pets to large breeds—will always strive to deliver the highest standard of care during grooming. However, we reserve the right to stop the service at any time if it causes discomfort, stress, or poses a safety risk to either your pet or the groomer. In such cases, clients remain responsible for 100% of the service fee. Clients will also be held accountable for any damage to equipment. Our top priority is the safety of our groomer and the comfort and well-being of your fur babies—above achieving a perfect groom.
We understand that many pets may have common issues such as tangles or mats, and clear communication during our consultation is key. At the start of each grooming appointment, we conduct a thorough assessment of your pet’s coat condition to determine the best approach.
Our top priority is always your pet’s comfort and safety—even if that means prioritizing their well-being over achieving a particular style. We firmly believe in choosing humanity over vanity.
Severe matting may incur an additional service charge and, if necessary, shaving may be required. We’ll also happily provide personalized recommendations for at-home brushing techniques and product use to help prevent future issues.
We require all clients to use a veterinarian-approved flea prevention method for both grooming and home care services. Prior to each appointment, we perform a full inspection of your pet’s coat. If fleas or ticks are detected, we will notify you immediately and discuss the necessary treatment steps. In cases of severe flea infestation, we must suspend the grooming service to ensure the safety and comfort of all pets we care for. We follow strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to protect every client. While we understand that flea issues can be challenging, please note that we do not provide extensive flea removal treatments or advice. Effective eradication requires a comprehensive, multi-step approach—including dips, home, and yard treatments—that is best managed by your veterinarian or a pest control professional.
We gladly accept Cash, Venmo, Square, and all major credit cards. To help us stay on schedule for our next client, please have your payment ready at the completion of your pet’s service. Our pricing reflects the personalized care and attention we dedicate to each furry friend, ensuring exceptional value every time.
Wheelin Winston Mobile Grooming and Home Care LLC reserves the right to cancel appointments when necessary. We value your time and strive to minimize any disruptions. Should any changes to your appointment be required, we will notify you as promptly as possible.
Please note that mobile grooming appointments are scheduled within a window of time. We cannot be held responsible for travel delays, so we ask for your flexibility on the day of service. PLEASE BE AWARE that extreme temps can make mobile grooming a challenge. Scheduling adjustments might be made at the last minute to ensure your fur babies safety.
For Club Members facing scheduling challenges, ask about our Latchkey option—once established, you don’t need to be home at the time of grooming. Many clients provide a garage code or key, and return to a freshly groomed fur baby!
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for any conditions that may pose risk, including but not limited to:
In the event of service termination for any reason, the full service fee will apply for grooming or home care. We require at least 72 hours’ notice for all cancellations. Due to the nature of mobile grooming, clients are responsible for the full service price for missed appointments, regardless of reason. This fee must be paid before scheduling the next appointment. As a courtesy, if we can fill your canceled appointment, this fee may be waived. New clients canceling within the week prior to their first appointment must pay a 50% deposit, which will be applied to that appointment. Our van is equipped with studded snow tires for safety, but clients must ensure driveways are clear of debris, excessive mud, or ruts, and that pets are ready at the time of arrival. Delays may result in service limitations or cancellation. In cases where weather conditions do not require cancellation by us, clients may be asked to bring their pet to a specified location.
